Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister asks officials to form one lakh teams for proper COVID-19 surveillance

<span style="color: #222222;">Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked officials to form one lakh teams for proper COVID-19 surveillance in the entire state to check the spread of the infection. In a review meeting in Lucknow last night, the Chief Minister also ordered the constitution of a special team of directors and senior doctors of Premier institutes to prepare strategy to check the spread of COVID-19 in the state.<br />''<br />''The team will have directors and senior doctors of the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, the King George's Medical University and the Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Science.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, 2,083 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Uttar Pradesh during the last 24 hours. The total number of active cases in the state stands at 15,720. 34 persons lost their lives due to Coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours in the state. </span><br />
