In Uttar Pradesh, all arrangements are in place for the second phase of assembly elections on 55 seats tomorrow. The State is going to polls in seven phases starting from 10 February to 7th March. AIR correspondent reports that the battlefield of 2nd phase of elections is Rohilkhand region and parts of Western Uttar Pradesh. <br />''<br />''This belt has a sizeable population of minority voters which can play a decisive role. 586 candidates are in fray for 55 assembly seats spread over 9 districts of the state. Out of these 55 nine seats are reserved for scheduled castes. These 9 districts are Saharanpur, Bijnor, Amroha, moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Badaun and Sambhal. The alliance partner of Samajwadi Party Rashtriya lok dal is contesting only on 3 seats in this phase. All eyes are on Rampur seat from where Samajwadi Party stalwart Azam Khan is contesting. The only Muslim candidate of BJP alliance Haider ali Khan contesting on the symbol of Apna Dal is challenging Abdullah azzam son of Azam khan from suar seat of Rampur.
