In Uttar Pradesh, 65th Republic Day is being celebrated today in the entire state with gaiety and national pride. The main event was organized in Lucknow where Governor BL Joshi took the salute of the passing out parade. CM Akhilesh Yadav, senior officers of the state government and military were also present on the occasion.

The colourful event lasted for more than two hours which unfolded in front of the majestic Vidhan Sabha Lucknow. The government buildings and other monuments have been draped with the tricolour cloths and colourful lights representing our national flag.
