In Uttar Pradesh, 18 people died and more than a dozen injured in a tragic road accident in Barabanki district. The accident took place in the wee hours at Lucknow-Ayodhya Highway in Ram Sanehi Ghat area of the district when a speeding truck hit a passenger bus carrying mostly daily wage labourers. The accident was so severe that many passengers stuck in the body of the bus.<br />''<br />''Senior Police and Administrative officials have reached the spot and started the rescue operation. Additional Director General of Police S.N. Sabat also reached the spot from Lucknow. He said that the bus having technical breakdown was standing on one side of the road when the speeding truck could not see it and rammed from behind.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">Many injured have been admitted in different hospitals of Lucknow also. The deceased were mostly from Bihar who were returning from Haryana. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the tragic accident and asked officials to provide every possible help to the injured.</span><br />
