The US has welcome the just conclude direct talks between India and Pakistan. Reacting on the just concluded talks in Islamabad between Home Minister P Chidambaram and his Pakistani counterpart Rehman Malik, a US State Department spokesman said America encourage this kind of direct and pragmatic dialogue. There can be benefits to both countries. On the nature of cooperation and the sharing of information, he said the decision is to be made by respective governments.
