In the US, two people have been killed and another wounded in a stabbing on a Portland light-rail train after a man yelled racial slurs at two young women who appeared to be Muslim.<br/><br/>Portland police said in a statement that the attack took place on a train at Hollywood Transit Station and one of the victims died at the scene and the other in the hospital.<br/><br/>The statement said, the suspect was shouting and ranting and raving a lot of different things, including what would be characterised as hate speech and when some people tried to intervene, they were attacked. Police have identified the suspect as Jeremy Joseph Christian.
