Describing Lashkar-e-Toiba, Taliban and Al Qaeda as common enemy of India and the US, American ambassador Timothy J Roemer said that the two countries are working closely on counter- terrorism. Talking to reporters last evening, he said, both the countries are working shoulder to shoulder, minute to minute in field of information sharing and collection and analysis of intelligence. Roemer said the two countries have been working together to increase their counter-terrorism capabilities to ensure the safety of Indian and American citizens.<br/><br/>He said that the bilateral strategic partnership between the two countries is the strongest ever and they are working at an unprecedented level on counter terrorism and regional security along with various otherissues.<br/><br/>The Ambassador said relations between the two sides were moving ahead smoothly in economic cooperation also. Answering a query on the possibility of American universities coming to India after the Cabinet cleared the Foreign Universities Bill, Roemer said many colleges had expressed interest in partnering with India but instead of building campuses , may be they can start partnering with India. He said that India faced three major challenges including to grow its economy at 8-9 per cent annually, provide power to its people and industry; and build infrastructure<br/>
