Wall Street gained more than one and half percent yesterday as investors sought bargains among sectors hardest-hit by the coronavirus recession, now limping toward its ninth month. All three major U.S. stock indexes jumped snapping the longest weekly losing streak.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 1.5 a percent, the S&P 500 climbed 1.6 percent while the Nasdaq Composite index surged 1.9 percent.
