The US State Department has approved the potential sale of 31 armed drones, missiles, and other equipment to India for nearly four billion dollars, said Pentagon. The State Department has formally informed Congress of the sale which includes 31 armed MQ-9B SkyGuardian drones, Hellfire missiles, and laser-guided bombs. MQ-9B Sky Guardians are the most advanced among Predator drones built by General Atomics. This can be seen as a big move for India towards purchasing American weapons as it will further modernize India's defense system.<br />”<br />”<br />
