Richard Olson, Special US Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, has embarked on a two-day visit to India to hold talks with top officials on a range of key issues, including India's role in promoting stability and prosperity in the region. Olson will hold discussions on promoting Afghan-led, Afghan-owned peace and reconciliation process during his visit starting today, the State Department said.
