Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said, the United States should respect Syria's territorial integrity and refrain from unilateral actions in this country. Following his meeting with the BRICS foreign ministers in Beijing today, he said there are many participants in Syria and any actions on the ground, including those who carry out military operations, should be coordinated with Damascus. <br/>'<br/>Lavrov made the remarks after a U.S. warplane shot down a Syrian army jet yesterday in the southern Raqqa. Washington claimed that the jet had dropped bombs near U.S.-backed forces while Damascus said the plane was downed while flying a mission against Islamic State militants.<br/>'<br/>The Russian Foreign Minister said that the next round of peace talks resolving the Syrian crisis would take place on July 10 at Kazakhstan's capital Astana. He said, UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura will also take part in the meeting.
