US Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano paid tribute to the martyrs and victims of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks in Mumbai on Tuesday. A statement issued by the US consulate in Mumbai stated that Napolitano will be in India till May 27. She is visiting Mumbai and New Delhi and meeting representatives of industry and Government to share best practices to promote homeland security and co-ordinate counter-terrorism and law enforcement co-operation between India and USA.During her stay in Mumbai Janet Napolitano met government officials, senior politicians, local law enforcement officials and civil society organizations. This is her first visit to India.
