US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will visit China this week, the Chinese foreign ministry said today as both countries prepared for the first summit between President Xi Jinping and his American counterpart Donald Trump next month. <br/><br/>Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said Tillerson will visit from March 18 to 19 at the invitation of Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Chinese. Both the officials will exchange views on bilateral ties as well as regional and international issues of common concern. It will be Tillerson's first visit to Beijing after he took over the office.<br/><br/>The first meeting between Xi and Trump may take place next month in Florida. The meeting is expected to set the course for the world's most important diplomatic relationship for the next four years.
