The United States says, it will soon start delivering weapons to Syria's Kurdish militant group YPG, despite objections from Turkey. <br/><br/>U.S. Air Force Colonel John Dorrian, spokesman for the U.S.-led coalition against Islamic State said in Baghdad that the first consignment of weapons is already in place for delivery and will be dispatched to the militant group very quickly. <br/><br/>He said, YPG will receive weapons include small arms, ammunitions, heavy machine guns, and mortars. Commanders of YPG, and the U.S.-led coalition against the Islamic State say Washington's decision to send more arms to the YPG will accelerate their advance into Islamic State's de facto capital, Raqqa.<br/>'<br/>Meanwhile, the decision to supply arms to the YGP has provoked anger in Turkey, which considers YPG an extension of terrorist organization, PKK. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged the United States to reverse the decision and said he would raise the issue in talks with Donald Trump next week. <br/><br/>In a latest development, Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF), which is an alliance of Syrian Kurdish and Arab fighters, has taken a strategically important town and its nearby dam from the Islamic State group in the West of Raqqa city.
