The DMK President Mr. M. Karunanidhi welcomed Prime Minister’s statement that India is inclined to vote in favour of the US resolution against Sri Lanka in the United Nations Human Rights Council. Speaking to newsmen in Chennai on Monday, he said following the Prime Minister’s assurance in the Lok Sabha, the party had decided to call off the proposed one day fast on Thursday and Sunday’s high level meeting of the party.
