The United States has rejected Iran's plan to hold a nuclear disarmament conference. A State Department spokesman told newsmen in Washington that Iran should take specific actions as demanded by the International Community. He said if Teheran is really interested in preventing nuclear weapons it should reassure the international community about its intensions to avoid fresh sanctions.
