The US will provide 899 million dollars in assistance to Pakistan in the fields of health, education, governance and reconstruction of areas affected by the 2005 earthquake.<br/><br/>A statement issued by the US Embassy in Islamabad said the agreements for cooperation in these fields were signed between the two countries on Thursday, bringing the total obligation to Pakistan through USAID this year to 920 million dollars.
