The US President Mr Barack Obama today vowed to create a new international order that can meet the current challenges, including terrorism, nuclear proliferation and climate change. He said the US must work to shape an international order that can meet the challenges of the generation. He was addressing the US Military Academy at West Point in New York. Mr Obama said the campaign to disrupt, dismantle, and to defeat al Qaeda is part of an international effort that is necessary and just. Describing the fight against terrorism as a different kind of war he said the failed Times Square bomb plot show that pressure on networks like al Qaeda is forcing them to rely on terrorists with less time and space to train.
