<span style="color: #222222;">US President Donald Trump and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron have held a three-hour talk in Paris, following their brief spat on Europe-US defence co-operation.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a tweet, Mr Macron said, the close-door conversation with Mr Trump focused on issues of counter-terrorism, European defence, Iran, Syria, the Gulf region and Libya, among others. Hailing the talks as fruitful, the French President said, both countries have decided to work together for the stability of West Asia, which will have a positive impact on the price of oil.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Trump was one of dozens of world leaders taking part in events in France to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the World War I.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
