US President Barack Obama will meet his top military officials on Friday at the White House to discuss strategy in Pakistan and Afghanistan ahead of deciding whether to send thousands extra troops to the war-torn region.President Obama invited Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen and entire top leaders of US Defence and intelligence establishment to the White House Situation Room to hear their input on his war plan and deliberations on troop numbers.
