US President Barak Obama unveiled new Afghan-Pakistan policy

After three months of intensive review of his Afghan-Pak policy, US President Barack Obama announced to send an additional 30,000 troops to Afghanistan and begin withdrawal of troops in 18 months. He added that Afghan Government must take responsibility of the security of the country. President Obama announced in his speech at the West Point Military Academy in New York" noting that US' security was at stake in Afghanistan and Pakistan. US President said that the Pakistan and Afghanistan are the epicenters of terrorism which is practiced by the al-Qaida who plotted 9/11 attack. President Obama said since 9/11, al Qaeda’s safe-havens have been the source of attacks against London, Amman and Bali.
