US President Barack Obama would participate in a wreath laying ceremony at the Ground Zero in New York to mark the killing of Osama Bin Laden. The White House said, following the ceremony, the President will meet privately with family members of the victims of the 9/11 World Trade Centre attack by terrorist. Obama will also interact with the first responders to the incident. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters in Washington that the President thinks it's entirely fitting and appropriate to visit the site of Ground Zero in the wake of this significant and cathartic moment for the American people. Carney said, Obama wants to lay a wreath to honour the victims, to honour the first responders who so courageously rushed to the scene and in many cases, gave their own lives to try to save others; to honour the spirit of unity in America that they allfelt in the wake of that terrible attack.
