In the US Open, women's singles final will be played between Sloane Stephens and Madison Keys. Sloane Stephens shocked 9th seed Venus Williams this morning. In the all-American women's Semifinal, Stephens, playing after returning from foot surgery, defeated the two-time champion Venus, 6-1, 0-6, 7-5. In the other semifinal, Madison Keys of US defeated fellow American CoCo Vandeweghe 6-1, 6-2. In the women's doubles category, India's Sania Mirza along with her Chinese partner Peng Shuai will today take on Swiss-Taiwanese pair of Martina Hingis and Chan Yung-jan for final berth. The Match will start at 9:30 pm, Indian time. To enter in the semifinals the duo defeated the Hungarian-Czech brace of Timea Babos and Andrea Hlavackova 7-6, 6-4.
