US Open Tennis: Rohan Bopanna crashes out in Mixed Doubles<br/>

In US Open Tennis, Rohan Bopanna and his Mixed Doubles team-mate Gabriela Dabrowski bowed out from the Mixed Doubles this morning. In their quarterfinal match, the seventh seeded Indo-Canadian pair lost to the third placed Kiwi-Taiwanese duo of Michael Venus and Hao-Ching Chan, 6-4, 3-6, 8-10. With this, India&apos;s campaign in Mixed Doubles has ended. Sania Mirza in the Women&apos;s Doubles is the only Indian left in the tournament.Meanwhile, in the Singles, 19-year old Russian Andrey Rublev has become the youngest man to reach the US Open quarter-finals since Andy Roddick in 2001. In his fourth round match, Rublev got the better of ninth seed David Goffin in straight sets, 7-5, 7-6, 6-3, to storm into his first Grand Slam quarter-final and set up a last-8 clash with world number one Rafael Nadal. This year&apos;s Australian Open and Wimbledon winner Roger Federer, top seed Karolina Pliskova and American CoCo Vandeweghe have also made it to the quarterfinals.
