India's ace Tennis player Leander Paes and his Czech partner Radek Stepanek have waltzed into the Men's Doubles finals of the US Open in New York. In the semi-finals last night, the fifth seeded Indo-Czech duo prevailed upon the Spanish pair of Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez when the latter retired with the scoreline reading, 6-6. Paes and Stepanek will clash with the second seeded American brothers – Bob and Mike Bryan – in the title clash today. The Bryan brothers had defeated the Pak-Dutch combination of Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Jean-Julien Rojer, 6-3, 6-4 in the other semi-final yesterday.Meanwhile, the Brazilian-Russian pair of Bruno Soares and Ekaterina Makarova has bagged the Mixed Doubles title. The duo beat the Polish-Czech pair of Marcin Matkowski and Kveta Peschke, 6-7, 6-1, 12-10.
