The Romanian was stunned by qualifier Mirjana Lucic-Baroni of Croatia, in straight sets, 6-7, 2-6 in a third round match last night. World number seven Angelique Kerber of Germany also crashed out after losing to unseeded Swiss Belinda Bencic, 1-6, 5-7.In the Men's Singles, Swiss Giant Roger Fedrer, Spaniard David Ferrer and Frenchman Gael Monfilis advanced to the third round last night.In the Men's Doubles, the Indo-Czech pair of Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek progressed into the pre-quarterfinals. The sixth seeded Indo-Czech pair defeated Yen-Hsun Lu of Chinese Taipie and his Czech partner Jiri Vesely, 7-6, 6-3.
