India's Leander Paes, along with his respective partners, has stormed into the Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles quarterfinals of the US Open Tennis tournament at New York. In the Men's Doubles pre-quarterfinal match, the fifth seeded Indo-Czech pair of Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek defeated the American-Aussie combination of Jesse Levine and Marinko Matosevic, 6-1, 6-3. In the Mixed Doubles pre-quarterfinal match, Paes and his Russian partner Elena Vesnina beat the American duo of Scott Lipsky and Abigail Spears, 4-6, 6-4, 10-5. In the same category, India's Sania Mirza also made it to the quarters with his English partner Colin Fleming. They pair defeated the American pair of Melanie Oudin and Jack Sock, 6-4, 7-6.<br/>Sania Mirza, however, crashed out from the Women's Doubles section after she and her American partner Bethanie-Mattek Sands lost to the second seeded Italian pair of Sara Errani and Robert Vinci, 4-6, 7-6, 3-6.<br/>
