The Indian campaign in the final grand slam tournament of the season, the US Open, ended on Friday, with the Indo-Pak express of Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi crashing out of the Men's Doubles event. In the semi-finals, the fifth seeded Indo-Pak pair lost to the Polish duo of Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6(4). In another match, the American duo of Jack Sock and Melanie Oudin has won the Mixed Doubles title. They defeated the Argentinian combine of Eduardo Schwank and Gisela Dulko 7-6(4), 4-6, 1-0(8) in the finals. Top seeds will be seen in action on Saturday in the semi-finals of the Men's and Women's Singles event. In Men's Singles, while Serbia 's World Number 1 Novak Djokovic will face the third seeded Swiss Roger Federer, second placed Rafael Nadal of Spain will take on Great Britain 's Andy Murray. In Women's Singles semi-finals, top seed Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark will play American Serena Williams and Australia 's Samantha Stosur will clash with Angelique Kerber of Germany . The final match of the Men's Doubles event will also be played on Saturday.
