US Open GPG: H.S. Prannoy enters finals easily defeating Tien Minh Nguyen

It is all India men single's final at the US Open Grand Prix Gold Badminton at Anaheim, USA. Second seed H.S. Prannoy entered the finals today easily defeating Tien Minh Nguyen of Vietnam in a straight set 21-14, 21-19. Prannoy had met the Vietnemese at 2012 Badminton Asia Championship which he lost. An hour later, Parupalli Kashyap after losing the first game 15-21 came back and defeated Korea's Kwang Hee Heo 15-21, 21-15, 21-16. In the doubles, the Indian pair Manu and Sumeeth failed to enter the finals as the top seeds Lu Ching Yao and Yang Po Han of Chinese Taipei beat the Indian duo 21-12, 12,21,22-20.Earlier, Kashyap reached the semifinals defeating compatriot Sameer Verma 21-13, 21-16 while Prannoy saw off Japan's Kanta Tsuneyama 10 -21, 21-15, 21-18 in a men's singles match at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena.
