World number one and defending champion Novak Djokovic of Serbia will take on 3rd seeded Swiss star Stanislas Wawrinka in the Men's Singles final of the US Open later tonight. In the semi-finals, while Djokovic defeated Gael Monfils of France, Wawrinka overcame sixth seeded Kei Nishikori of Japan. Djokovic will be playing his 21st Grand Slam final and seventh at the US Open. Overall, the Serbian is seeking his third US Open championship title and 13th major trophy. Djokovic has won 19 of 23 previous meetings against Wawrinka. For the Swiss star, however, it will be his first final at Flushing Meadows. He won the French Open Final last year, beating Djokovic for his second Grand slam Crown.
