US on top in medal tally, Korea 3rd

In the London Olympics, the United States now hold the top spot in the medals table. At the end of the seventh day of competitions on Friday, they had a haul of 21 Gold, 10 Silver and 12 Bronze. China are standing second with 20 Gold, 13 Silver and 9 Bronze. Republic of Korea are in the third position with 9 Gold, 2 Silver and 5 bronze medals.India, who have won One Silver and One Broze, are in the joint 35th place with some other nations.
