National Security Adviser of USA HR McMaster today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and reviewed bilateral ties and the situation in the South Asian region. <br/><br/>PTI reports quoting sources that India's NSA Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar were present in the meeting. Earlier, Mr McMaster and Mr Doval held detailed discussions on Indo-US relations especially the security aspect of the ties.<br/><br/>The US NSA arrived last evening from Pakistan, where he met Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and some top officials. <br/><br/>As part of the South Asia trip, he also visited Afghanistan before travelling to Pakistan.
