The US Navy has announced that it will carry out a military exercise involving 3 aircraft carriers in the Western Pacific from Saturday to Tuesday. US Pacific Fleet Commander, Admiral Scott Swift said the exercise is a strong testament to the US Pacific Fleet's unique ability and ironclad commitment to the continued security and stability of the region. <br/><br/>The exercise will take place in the Sea of Japan. The US 7th Fleet yesterday said that the strike groups of the USS Ronald Reagan, USS Nimitz, and USS Theodore Roosevelt will be training together.<br/><br/>In an address to South Korea's National Assembly, US President Donald Trump yesterday said the 3 largest aircraft carriers in the world are stationed in the vicinity of the Korean peninsula and nuclear submarines are also appropriately positioned.
