US National Security Adviser, General H R McMaster says, US will pay for the cost of deploying the THAAD anti-missile system in South Korea. He said, he had conveyed his South Korean counterpart that the deals are in place and until any re-negotiation, US will adhere to its word.<br/><br/> His comments came days after President Trump said that South Korea should pay for the anti-missile system. South Korea's Presidential office said, in a telephonic call, McMaster had reassured his South Korean counterpart, Kim Kwan-jin, that the U.S. alliance with South Korea is its top priority in the Asia-Pacific region. <br/><br/>The conversation followed another North Korean missile test-launch on Saturday which Washington and Seoul said was unsuccessful. <br/>Meanwhile, President Trump stepped up his outreach to allies in Asia over the North Korean nuclear threat. <br/><br/>White House official said, the President spoke to Thailand Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha,Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte on the security issues.<br/>
