US Navy has said, its Guided-missile destroyer USS John S McCain has collided with an oil tanker off the coast of Singapore in the early hours today.<br/><br/>It said in a statement that the Destroyer had sustained damage to its port side when it struck the Liberian-flagged vessel. Navy said currently 10 sailors are missing and five injured in the collision and search and rescue efforts are underway in coordination with local authorities.<br/><br/>It is the second collision involving a ship from the Navy's 7th Fleet in the Pacific in two months. Seven sailors died in June when the USS Fitzgerald and a container ship hit each other in waters off Japan.
