Senior lawmakers in the United States say, they have reached a deal on how to reduce government spending and avoid another government shut down scheduled for next month. Negotiators in Congress have agreed to a two-year deal to avert automatic spending cuts. Under the agreement, 60 billion dollars in automatic spending over two years, will be replaced with savings elsewhere. The deal is still to be approved by both Houses of Congress.
