The United States today warned its citizens about the risk of travelling to Sri Lanka mainly due to its continued security concerns in that country. In a travel warning, the State Department expressed concern over the overall security situation in the country, especially in the northernmost areas and most of its Eastern Province, as there are still uncleared landmines and potential for incidents by remnant members of the LTTE.<br/>
