In the United States, one person was killed and several others injured when a man opened fire at a church in the state of Tennessee.<br/><br/>The incident took place at the Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in the outskirts of Nashville on Sunday. <br/><br/>Police said, the gunman fatally shot a woman in the parking lot and wounded 6 other people inside the church building. Another person was whipped by a pistol when he tried to subdue the shooter.<br/><br/> Authorities identified the attacker as Emanuel Kidega Samson, of Murfreesboro, who came to the United States from Sudan in 1996 and was a legal U.S. resident.
