Families of passengers and a Malaysian government minister said that a US seabed exploration firm has offered to take on the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, in a bid to solve one of the world's greatest aviation mysteries. The Boeing 777 disappeared in 2014 en route to Beijing from the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur with 239 people aboard. Australia, Malaysia and China called off two-year search for the plane in January this year, amid protests from families of those on board. Deputy Malaysian Transport Minister Aziz Kaprawi confirmed in a message to Reuters that authorities had received the offer, but said no decision had been made on whether it would be accepted.
