US Envoy arrives in N Korea to revive negotiations on N-weapons

The United States Envoy Stephen Bosworth has arrived in North Korea to revive the stalled negotiations on its nuclear weapons programme. <br/><br/>His visit is the first high level contact between the Obama administration and the North Korean regime. <br/><br/>US officials said Mr. Bosworth would try to find out whether Pyongyang is ready to return to the six-party talks on its nuclear programme it left in April. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, a Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperon told reporters in Beijing that a visit to North Korea by a US envoy would help in reducing tension between the two sides and lead to the resumption of talks on ending Pyongyang's nuclear ambitions.<br/>
