The US Embassy in Islamabad says they are closing the embassy in office and its consulates in Pakistan on Friday due to the threat of protests sparked by the release of a CIA contractor accused of double murder.In a statement, the Embassy said the decision was made for public safety because there may be demonstrations in the capital on Friday . There have been isolated rallies throughout Pakistan, including Multan, Peshawar, Lahore and Islamabad, since CIA contractor Raymond Davis was set free on Wednesday.
