In Pakistan, US drones killed at least fifteen people in three strikes in North Waziristan today. Security officials said, US drones fired multiple missiles on two suspected hideouts and a vehicle. At least fifteen suspected militants have been killed and many others injured. One security official in Miranshah said, the drones were still flying over the area. Another security official in Miranshah confirmed the attacks in Mandi Khel and Ghoresti areas of the agency. Mandi Khel and the surrounding area is a known stronghold of the militant Haqqani network. Security officials in Miranshah and Peshawar said that the men who died were thought to be attached to militant commander Hafiz Gul Bahadur.
