In Pakistan, four militants were killed today in a US drone strike at a compound in northwest Pakistan's lawless tribal region of Miranshah bordering Afghanistan. The attack was the third since Sunday in North Waziristan district, infested with Taliban and Al-Qaeda-fighters. Officials said, the drone fired two missiles into a militant compound in Tabi Tolkhel village; two militants were also wounded in the attack. A local administration official said, the drone strike was targeted at the compound of a Taliban commander.
