US drone attacks kill 14 Taliban militants in Pak

At least 14 Taliban militants were killed in two US drone attacks in Pakistan's restive northwest, even as four soldiers died as a suicide bomber struck an army barrack in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, in the latest wave of terrorist attacks across the country. A soldier was killed and two more were injured when Taliban militants fired several rockets at security forces at Tabai Sar in the Razmak sector of Waziristan. The military said in Islamabad that troops pushed on with their search and clearance operations against the Taliban in the Swat valley and Waziristan tribal region.A drone fired two missiles at the militant training centre at Sunzali village, 30 kilometers west of Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan, killing six militants. The second attack was carried out as tribesmen were sifting through the debris of the compound and pulling out bodies in which eight militants were killed. Reports said two foreigners were among the dead.
