In Pakistan, at least 26 people were killed in two U.S. drone attacks in north-west tribal area of South Waziristan yesterday. According to local media reports, in the first strike, four missiles were fired by U.S. drones at a vehicle suspected of carrying militants in the Wana area, reportedly killing 12 people. The second strike, which was launched late in the night in the Mantoi area targeted two houses, killing 14 people.
