At least three people were killed on Tuesday when a U.S. drone targeted northwest Pakistan's North Waziristan tribal region. Locals said the pilot-less aircraft fired two missiles at a vehicle in Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan, one of the seven tribal agencies near the Afghan border which is believed to be a stronghold of Taliban and al-Qaeda militants. The killed were not immediately identified but locals said they were village residents.
