The US diplomat Raymond Allen Davis, who is accused of shooting down two persons in Pakistan, has been sent on 14-day judicial remand. He was produced before a judge of a lower court in Lahore today after the expiry of his physical remand. Davis was sent to the central jail in Kot Lakhpat. The US official has confessed to shooting two men in self-defence last month. The US has been putting pressure on Pakistan to release him immediately.
