The United States says, India is a very strong security partner and a force in the region and continue to have very good relationship with India in the region. Pentagon Spokesman Captain Jeff Davis, during a news conference in Washington in late evening yesterday said that Defence Secretary,James Mattis will meet Indian National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval on coming Friday. He will also discuss a wide range of bilateral security issues including defence relations. The Mattis – Doval meeting would be one of the highest level meetings between the two countries after the Trump Administration came to power on January 20.
