US decides to send team to hold talks with North Korea

<br/> The United States will send a team of officials led by Ambassador Stephen Bosworth to Pyongyang to hold bilateral talks with North Korean officials within the framework of the Six-Party talks. Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs, P J Crowley, told reporters that the purpose of visit is to facilitate an early resumption of the Six-Party Talks and to secure North Korea's reaffirmation on verifiable denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula in a peaceful manner.
