US-China pledge to continue negotiations to resolve trade disputes

<span style="color: #222222;">The US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping,  have agreed not to impose new tariffs from January 1, 2019, and pledged to continue negotiations to seek a way out of the ongoing trade war. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This follows a highly successful meeting in Buenos Aires between the leaders of the two largest economies. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Trump has also agreed to hold off on raising existing tariffs on 200 billion Dollars for 90 days, pending new talks. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">US tariffs on 200 billion Dollars of Chinese goods were scheduled to increase from 10 per cent to 25 per cent starting January 1, 2019.</span><br />
